The One-Year Certificate Course in Islamic Studies (Online, for Boys) is curated by senior professors and researchers of IIISR under the guidance of the Islamic Academy Trust (est. 2005).
Designed specifically for college students, university scholars, and working men, this program offers an intellectually stimulating alternative to informal discourses. Students are exposed to primary textual traditions, thematic Qur'anic exegesis, Hadith methodology, Arabic grammar essentials, and moral personality building (Tazkiyah) without interrupting their ongoing education or professions.
Core Academic Modules
Qur'anic Sciences & Thematic Exegesis (Tafseer)
Fundamental rules of Qur'anic phonetics (Tajweed), principles of exegesis (Usool al-Tafseer), and in-depth thematic reflection over selected Meccan and Medinan Surahs focusing on ethical and societal commandments.
Hadith Sciences & Prophetic Guidance (Sunnah)
Introductory study of Hadith compilation history, criteria of authentic transmission, and study of selected traditions from Imam Nawawi's Forty Hadith and Riyadh al-Saliheen.
Applied Arabic Language (Grammar & Vocabulary)
Foundations of classical Arabic grammar (Nahw and Sarf), syntax construction, active Qur'anic vocabulary building, and direct translation exercises from holy verses.
Islamic Worldview, Seerah & Moral Character (Tazkiyah)
Comprehensive study of Islamic creed (Aqeedah), chronological analysis of the Prophet Muhammad's ﷺ life, civilizational history, and personal ethical transformation.
